Back in 2008, Armad & Cyme was my first solo project both as a musician & a producer. In 2007, I spent two months in Armenia recording masters of folk instruments (duduk, kanun, blul, pku...) and digging in the National archives and radio. Then I start to produce an album merging this material with trip-hop and abstract hip-hop beats. I had the pleasure of meeting the great pianist Tigran Hamasyan who played on two songs eventually.
